Veneto Region Brussels Office
Director: Mr. Stefano Beltrame Av. de Tervuren 67 1040 Bruxelles The Regional Law no 30/1996 has established the Veneto Region's Brussels Representation Office. This Office was inaugurated on June 25th 1997 with the aim to contribute to the promotion of the region's social and economic development within the European integration process. Main goals accomplished: - spread of community information within the Veneto region; - EU projects; - promotion and representation in the framework of institutional relationships; - development of networks with other European regions and EU institutions; - information of possible opportunities to the regional interested subjects; - identification of useful contacts for the regional relationships; - initiative promoted by local administrations and stakeholders that are present on the regional territory (domiciliations); - specific and pertinent interventions for the Veneto's social, economic and territorial identity; - assistance/consulting for the participation of regional subjects to the EU's tenders; - updating to the regional experts'data-bank within the community institutions. Action fields: The fields where the Veneto Region's representation is currently acting are the following: agriculture, environment, culture, social policies, research and innovation, health and transports. Our Office actively takes part to the Committee of Region's works. Further more, a specific and specialised detached office in Padova (V.inE. - Veneto in europe for the development of the Balkans) develops and promotes the co-operation with the Eastern European Countries. |
